Now here’s a recipe that you can really sink your teeth into! These Hash Brown Sausage Balls, courtesy of A Zesty Bite, have all of the comforting flavors of a home-cooked breakfast packed into bite-sized portions. These balls are great for bringing to a brunch or an on-the-go breakfast.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon olive oil
1 20-ounce bag Simply Potatoes O’Brien Hash Browns
1 pound turkey sausage
1 large jalapeño, deveined and deseeded
2 cups Bisquick
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat.

Add hash browns and cook for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a bowl, combine sausage, jalapeño, Bisquick, eggs, cheese, cooked hash browns and salt. Mix using your hands to ensure it’s well incorporated.

Using a spoon or cookie scoop, create 2-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20 minutes, until browned.
