Basic Baking Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove the packaging and poke potatoes a few times with a fork.
  • Rub potatoes with your favorite cooking oil (makes the skin crispy), and season with salt (helps to dehydrate skin and make it even crispier) and pepper.
  • Bake on a baking sheet lined with foil or place directly on the oven rack for 45-60 minutes.

Here’s the basic roasting recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Dice the sweet potatoes into 3/4-inch chunks.
  3. Season with olive oil, salt, and garlic powder (if you like).
  4. Roast for about 25 minutes until tender. No stirring is needed.
