Keep the fries without the fat! This simple recipe for Crunchy Seasoned Oven Fries keeps all the flavor of fries without all the fat and hassle.


  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup cornflake crumbs
  • 4 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch think wedges
  • Lemon wedges (optional)
  • Ketchup (optional)


Italian Fries Seasoning:

  • 1 1/2 Italian herb seasoning
  • 6 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese


Chili Fries Seasoning:

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt



1. Coat two baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Lightly beat egg in small bowl.  Mix crumbs, cheese and seasoning blend of your choice in another small bowl.  Dip potato wedges into egg; coat completely with crumb mixture.  Arrange in single layer on baking sheets.

3. Bake 20 minutes in preheated 375°F oven; turn potatoes over and continue to bake 10 minutes longer, or until potatoes are browned and crisp and insides are tender when tested with toothpick.  Serve immediately with lemon or ketchup, if desired.
